Very nice and friendly staff. Food leaves a bit to be desired. In general there were few vegetables and in duc and prawn dishes, very little meat. And did not match the price level, which was higher that in the town. Location is lovely and very peace full. The staff was very helpful. Half of the sun beds was old and in need of replacement. However, never crowded on the beach or by the pool. In general, we were very happy and satisfied with our 2 weeks stay. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

A good hotel, facilities excellent. It is in a quiet part of the Island so if you are after joining the night life this hotel is not for you. Great access to a private beach and ideal for families. Breakfast is good but if you eat in the resturant, food is adequate but not what you call delicious, more ordinary.

Such a beautiful place to relax! If you want to get away from it all, this is the perfect location. Clear waters, absolutely no-one to share the beach with. Great restaurant and delicious food. See Wut in the bar for amazing cocktails, but maybe order two at a time if you re thirsty as they may be a little slow at times. The perfect place to relax!

The hotel staffs should learn how to orientate guests with the facilities provided. On the day of arrival on 2/10/2012, at approx 12noon Thai time, we were greeted by the smiling staffs with refreshing welcome mocktail. Since it is only 12noon, we headed to our room, getting ready for late lunch and shopping at about 4pm. We went to ask about car rental since the hotel is tucked away from town. Only then, the hotel staffs started to tell us about free shuttle van service. It takes turn to Chaweng, Lamai, Nathon & (another location), daily at 2pm. We were surprised that it was not brought to our attention as we arrived at the hotel. We would have rushed for the free ride. Since we have missed it, we paid THB700 to Lamai. It also didnt cross our mind to ask where s the shuttle van s pickup point at Lamai, as it turned midnite at Lamai anyways, we paid another THB800 back to the hotel. Second day comes, we boarded the free ride to Chaweng at 2pm. As we arrived at destination, we double checked with the driver on the picked up time whether it is 8pm. He confirmed YES. We spent time until 7.45pm and bought McDonalds (cost us about THB300!)back for dinner but came to realise the van is nowhere to be seen at the pickup point. We waited till about 9pm and called the hotel. They were not helpful and the communication was bad. We cant understand their English at all! Frustrated and tired, we asked for cab fare reimbursement since it was their driver s mistake in confirming the wrong pickup time with us. The hotel staff insist that they will not reimburse the cab fare and will not arrange for a (cheaper rate) cab to pick us up. They simply said the pickup time is clearly stated on the schedule at the hotel and there are alot of cabs in Chaweng. You can take any . We ended up spending THB900 since the hotel is such faroff town. We were very angry but we let it go since there is not point arguing with the staffs who do not understand English well. We demand for some sort of a compensation as we are really dissatisfied with the treatment! Also, we air polution is very bad at around the hotel as there were open fire burning at around coconut trees surrounding the hotel. Supposedly enjoying fresh air away from town, we ended up inhaling toxicated air daily!! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

The service was wonderful and food was fancy. I am very satisfied with all facilities but the place is a little remote . The shuttle bus runs every two hours for a famous sites but if you three times a day, it will be more wondeful. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We had a really good time at the coconut. Our pool access room was great, so was the very long pool. We were looking for a calm place and that was just perfect. A vehicule is required though to move around a bit. Prices for cars at the resort were ok, scooters prices were however much higher than what can be found in town. The breakfast buffet was just nice, the food for lunch and dinner was ok, but could be better. The staff was very kind and always smiling, we appreciated that very much. А nice hotel with beautiful modern rooms and the 2 comfortable swimming pools, which completely substituted swimming in the sea. Too low water and too many plants under feet in the sea near the hotel. There were not many people in the hotel. It is a good choice for a calm family vacation. The restaraunt is ok although the prices are too high for this quality. The hotel is located too far from everything, including other restaraunts and shops. The offered taxi is too expensive. Perfect resort to escape the trouble of daily life. Activities outside resort are limited to bus transfer to other beaches. Rooms were clean and the kindness of the staff was outstanding. Our kids enjoyed the pool and beach. Quality of food in hotel was very good, howeever more expensive than in restaurants in Chaweng beach. But overall quite ok. The Family mart convenience store is located 1-2 km walking distance from hotel (they tried to overcharge me 2x). Watch them scanning your purchases! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very reliable, safe payment scheme and excellent communication by e-mail. Would definitely book next Thai vacation via Sawadee again. The bus shuttle to/from airport was on time and with 700 THB a bit cheaper than other 3rd party transportation.

Excellent resort, beautiful location, and wonderful staff!!! We stayed in one of the Garden Villas and the room was perfect. The resort was clean and very well maintained. We would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great escape and a relaxing getaway. We can t wait to return!!!

ห้องใหม่ สะอาด สถานที่ตกแต่งสวย อาหารเช้ามีให้เลือกพอดีๆ ไม่มากไม่น้อยเกินไป ถ้ามีรถยนต์ใช้จะสะดวกมาก เพราะโรงแรมอยู่ไกลจากสนามบิน ท่าเรือ และแหล่งท่องเที่ยวหลักๆ รวมทั้งร้านอาหารบริเวณรอบๆ้ด้วย แต่ก็มีมินิมาร์ทใกล้ๆ ถ้าใครชอบที่พักแบบส่วนตัว คนไม่มาก ไม่ชอบความวุ่นวาย ที่นี่เหมาะกับการรีแรกซ์สุดๆจ้า :D [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This is a very nice resort, if you are looking for somewhere that quiet, peaceful and very very friendly service then Coconut Villa Resort & Spa is the perfect place for you. The beach is nice but the sea is very shallow but still enjoyable.

very isolated position which means you do not have much option to leave hotel even if you have car. We had car but didnt fancy 30mins drive in pitch dark to eat so stayed at hotel,Food ok not great either quality or choice. Beach villa very nice but we had lots of problems ( jaccusi didnt work and although we didnt care staff insisted on having repair man in our room for 3 hrs one day.Same night all lights went out so had to move to inferior villa for night leaving all possesions behind. Repair men in and out often leaving room unlocked.Returned 24 hrs later so we were very stressed.Hotel managment offered paltry sum for our trouble so were not really satisfied.All staff especially maagment need lots of training, For all that it was a nice place and lovely spot on beach.3 nights is more than enough though. I thought this hotel was absolutely brilliant. The hotel completely matched the photos on the website, the surroundings are very beautiful, the hotel staff are absolutely magnificent, they were without exception unfailingly efficient and helpful, I stayed for 4 nights with my daughter, they could not have done more to help us. It was very quiet there but that is what we wanted and Lamai and Chaweng are really for people who want to spend all night partying. I would go back in a heartbeat. Good getaway from the lights and noise of Chaweng/ Lamai for a few days of peace. Not easy to locate, but definitely worth the rating it deserves. Could do better with bugs and bathroom design though. Half the time my room s wet due to the design of the shower. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Simply fantastic!! We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful and relaxing hotel. We stayed for a week after spending a few days in the busier end of the island and it was so wonderful to find peace and calm at this resort. The Staff were extremly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for a resort. The whole hotel was wonderfully clean and grounds were really well kept. We had a pool access room and I would highly recommend this. We could swim direct from our balcony in the most beautiful long pool. Simply the best holiday - thank you coconut!!

We stayed for 5 days at the beginning of our holliday. The place is great for relaxing but no more than 4-5 days because there is nothing to see/do close to the resort. It is located in the middle of nowhere so there is nothing to do but staying at the pool. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Nice and clean. We stayed at the Coconut beachfront villa. There are gaps around the doors, so bugs can get in even after you close the doors. The bathroom floor is not constructed very well; water won t drain properly. This leaves a puddle of water in the bathroom after we shower every day. The hotel is VERY far from the rest of Samui businesses, so don t stay there unless you have some form of transportation or expect to stay in the resort the entire time. Other than that, the staff were very courteous and accommodating. The location is good for a quiet vacation away from the crowds. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
